For GW2 you can (and should) scythe everything (optimally camp drygores with a scythe switch.) IMO it would be a big mistake to downgrade or sell off a scythe. Only exception would be if you don't have the herb lvl for overloads imo. If you want to sell it for another weapon or gear, just make the gp with the scythe at gw2/high-lvl slayer.
